Wayne Finch
Wayne Finch is the Chairman and Chief Investment Officer.  Mr. Finch has extensive experience in designing and managing investing portfolios.  Prior to becoming a founding partner of Quadravest in 1997, Mr. Finch created and managed four other publicly traded products for a total in excess of $650 million with investment objectives and strategies similar to those being currently managed by Quadravest.  Mr. Finch also spent 13 years at Canada Trust in various capacities including managing corporate portfolios using similar covered call writing strategies, preferred share portfolios and the Canada Trust Everest Dividend Fund.  Mr. Finch has been recognized as an industry leader in the effective use of portfolio management strategies designed to enhance returns on common equity portfolios.

 

 

 

Laura Johnson
Laura Johnson is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Quadravest and one of the founding partners. Ms. Johnson has spent the last 12 years of her career in the investment industry.  She has considerable experience in the portfolio management strategies employed at Quadravest.

 

 

 

Peter Cruickshank
Peter Cruickshank is a Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Quadravest. Prior to joining Quadravest Mr. Cruickshank, a Chartered Accountant, spent 15 years of his career in the investment industry. From 1987 to 1999, Mr. Cruickshank was a Director and the Chief Financial Officer of Jones Heward, a large investment management firm with over $14 billion in assets under management and a member of the Bank of Montreal group of companies.

 

 

 

William Thornhill
William Thornhill, Vice Chairman, has spent over 30 years in the financial services business with extensive experience in all facets including product development, investment management and risk management.  Prior to joining Quadravest in 1997, Mr. Thornhill was Executive Vice President at Canada Trust.  Mr. Thornhill spent more than 20 years at Canada Trust in various capacities including Senior Vice President, Finance and Vice President, Treasury and Corporate Investments at the Canada Trust Company.  Mr. Thornhill had overall responsibility for the company’s preferred and common share portfolio which exceeded $1 billion.
