Today, Quadravest has grown to over $3 billion in assets under management and proudly manages a portfolio of 13 publicly traded investment products, including split share corporations and an investment trust. Among many of the key differentiating features of Quadravest's products is their superior targeted rate of annual income relative to conventional income products, which in addition to being more attractive, tend also to be more tax effective.
Wayne Finch is the Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Quadravest. Wayne has an extensive track record in the investment management industry, with over three decades of experience. Under Wayne’s leadership, Quadravest has grown to over $3 billion in assets under management. Wayne spent the earlier periods of his career as a portfolio manager in the treasury operation of a major Canadian trust company where he managed a number of common preferred share portfolios and was Vice-President at another investment management firm, prior to being one of the founding partners of Quadravest. Both professionally and personally, Wayne is committed to being innovative and results-oriented. He is also committed to giving back to the community and has founded a local not-for-profit charity.
Laura Johnson is the Chief Investment Strategist and Portfolio Manager at Quadravest. Laura manages asset in excess of $3 billion at Quadravest and has a wealth of knowledge in the investment management industry accumulated over more than two decades of experience. Laura has extensive expertise in the portfolio management strategies employed at Quadravest, including written covered call mandates. As a founding partner of Quadravest, Laura is committed to discipline in investment management and always strives for excellence is client service. Laura earned a Bachelor degree from Western University and is the President and founder of a local not-for-profit charity.
Peter Cruickshank is a Managing Director of Quadravest. Peter is a Professional Chartered Accountant, Chartered Accountant with over three decades of experience in the investment management industry. Prior to joining Quadravest in 1999, Peter was a Director and the Chief Financial Officer of a large investment management firm. Peter graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce. Pete is actively involved in the community and is a founding member and director of a local not-for-profit charity.
Silvia Gomes is the Chief Financial Officer of Quadravest. Silvia is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant and has been with Quadravest since 2016. Prior to her current position, Silvia was Director of Accounting and Finance at Quadravest. Prior to joining Quadravest, Silvia held the role of Director, Accounting Policy at RBC and also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 2005 to 2015, where she held progressive roles including senior manager in the asset management practice. Silvia graduated from the Schulich School of Business at York University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and currently serves as the Chair of the Board to a local not-for-profit charity.

National Instrument 81-107 Independent Review Committee for Investment Funds (‘‘NI 81-107’’) came into force on November 1, 2006, requiring the Company to establish an independent review committee (‘‘IRC’’). Messrs. Thornhill and Steep, two of the independent directors of the Company, serve as members of the IRC, together with Gordon Currie.
William C. Thornhill is currently the President of William C. Thornhill Consulting Inc. Mr. Thornhill spent over 30 years in the financial services business and held a number of senior positions at a major Canadian trust company including Executive Vice-President, Products, Senior Vice-President, Finance, and Vice-President, Treasury and Corporate Investments.
John D. Steep is currently the President of S Factor Consulting Inc. Prior to retiring in 2002, Mr. Steep spent over 30 years in the financial services business and retired as a Senior Vice-President at a major Canadian chartered bank.
Gordon A. M Currie is the Executive Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of George Weston Limited, which he joined in 2005. Prior to that, he was the General Counsel of Direct Energy, the North American subsidiary of Centrica plc. Prior to that, he was a partner at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, specializing in securities law, having joined the firm in 1983.
